Volunteering:

At this time we have two scholars in Canada - Toronto and Ottawa. Scholar Care Teams are in place for each scholar. From time to time there are opportunities to assist and as other scholars come to Canada, we will need additional teams. If this is something you would like to participate in, please contact us.

Scholar Care Teams are the principal support body for our Scholars while they are studying in Canada. Scholars arrive with young families who desire Christian community as they get oriented in a new culture.

Scholar Care Teams provide support for scholars and their families in several ways:

• Praise and Prayer – lifting scholar and family issues up to the Lord reqularly
• Finances and Resources – contributing to the scholarship awarded by Langham Partnership Canada for the scholar
• Relationship and Fellowship – inviting the scholar and family to events with Care Team families; scheduling the scholar to speak at local churches or Bible study groups; visiting with the scholar when nearby.

Scholar Care Teams are formed by individuals who are connected via existing study groups, prayer teams, or mission-minded friends. They are also formed by church mission teams that desire to connect with the international community and establish life-long learning relationships.

Families have been encouraged and transformed through the relationships built with Langham Scholars. Please consider this opportunity.
